Hot and big swells

The weather called for 70 degrees and 2 ft waves. The weather man got the 70 right. But, the swells were more like 6 feet. Nice rolling swells so no issues with them.
Came out of the harbor and headed north to the hovercraft station. One tack got me there. Nice relaxing sail. Tacked around and ran down to end of Oceanside/Carlsbad border then tacked to return to harbor.
Averaged between 3 to 4 knots. The gps batteries ran out on me. So no track or actual info. May have been over 5 knots for a while as the water started to come up through the centerboard. Only does that above 5 knots.
Still a nice sail. Out for 4 hours.
