Well, a strong wind curtailed our sailing. I put in and motored over to the anchorage. Only one boat there. All others had pulled up and moved to the marina. Made 3 knots with just the mizzen in what turned out to be 25 knot winds. Even with the main and jib furled, the wind-age of the boat was enough to make me heel over.
Still a fun time with the Potters.

White caps, wind and waves. June 7th, 2015
Out of Oceanside with Jim today. Good waves and wind over 15 knots. Jib and mizzen for first tack as Jim had not sailed before. Raised the main, with one reef, on the way back. Jumped up to 4/5 knots from 2 knots. I had the ballast filled today.
