White caps, wind and waves. June 7th, 2015

Out of Oceanside with Jim today. Good waves and wind over 15 knots. Jib and mizzen for first tack as Jim had not sailed before.  Raised the main, with one reef, on the way back. Jumped up to 4/5 knots from 2 knots. I had the ballast filled today.
 You can see the jump in speed on the speed graph below, when we raised the main.
