Lazy postings!

Well, I have been lazy and not posted this summer. I am missing posts for sailing with the Potters and my trip down to Oceanside from Dana Point on Mo's boat.
Been riding my bike most weekends. No need to worry to much about the wind with the bike :).
The weather this summer has been odd for southern California. Not our typical summer weather. I am hoping that the next few months will be good sailing weather. October through February are usually nice sailing months.

Some updates on the boat:-
- Water ballast seal is leaking. Bought sikaflex to fix it. Now just need to do the job.
- Jib self furler. Not working well this year. It is tough to furl when there is any wind putting a load on the sail. I bought a different (smaller) clasp to try. It will keep the sail closer to the furling drum.
- Brakes on trailer started to seize up. I found that a little grease works well! Found how to apply it, now all is fine.
- Minor scratches in the gel coat from a windy retrieve where I did not furl the mizzen before trying to put the boat on the trainer. More experience there!
